Once again Mazda and their London-based agency Redwood Publishing (cheers Matt!) had the great idea to combine craftsmanship and one of their cars and sent me on a tour to Mittenwald, Füssen, Absam and back to Munich. The result is a nice piece about the art of violin making and car shots in a majestic winter landscape.

Leon Bailey is a young and talented winger at Bayer Leverkusen. We had some relaxed couple of hours at the team hotel in Austria last summer.
Bastian Obermayer and his colleague Frederik Obermaier from Süddeutsche Zeitung are the two Pulitzer Prize winning journalists uncovering the world-famous Panama Papers in 2016. In the end of 2018 I had the honor to take their portraits for the cover and inside spreads of the January issue of US-based Fraud magazine.

Ali Güngörmüş, the Munich-based star cook known from various TV shows and for his great cuisine in his restaurant “Pageou” published his new book “Schau in die Sonne, Schau in den Tag” at Rowohlt. We shot the cover and all of the imagery for advertising and social media last summer in Munich.
I always love to meet and portray interesting, modest, charming, intelligent and exceptional people - especially when all of those are combined in one. Harold James Professor of History at Princeton University spent some time in Munich to talk about the parallels and differences of todays events compared to the 30s. Kuchentratsch and founder Katharina Mayer - one of the loveliest start-ups raising money in the German “Shark Tank” (Die Höhle der Löwen) TV show is featured on the cover of their magazine’s new issue.

Johannes Ernst is an architect and the managing director of Steidle Architekten, the company that plans the central Munich and former industrial area “Werksviertel” to be one of the most interesting new quarters in the whole city.
Wolfgang Hermann builds a house of 930 sqm. Apart from its fairly big size nothing special one might think. But Hermann is has been blind for over 40 years and started to build his new home in the 90s from scratch and until now he built more than 320 sqm of walls, installed over one kilometer of electric wires and used more than 3,5 kilometers of wooden panels.
