During these last weeks I’ve been doing a lot of thinking on the future of this blog and finally decided to change various aspects.
I am going to include young photographers, blogs, zines, exhibitions that emerge from my four-year hometown Barcelona into Kalte Burger as I recognized that since the day I left and came back to Munich I wouldn’t hardly notice anything that happens in photography in the catalonian capital.
That way I hope to achieve some kind of photographic exchange betwenn both cities and maybe this can be a platform for future collaborations, exhibitions or projects including artists from MUC and BCN.
In the course of these changes I will take my own work from this blog and present it via tumblr in the future. Plus my new website will be online soon…

Today, I’ll present Florian Huth, a young Munich-based photographer, who joined Oliver J. Uhrig to work at one of the still existing studios at Domagkateliers.
Besides the stunning landscapes in his series Zugspitze and Gipfel & Kreuze, which are about human intervention in the Alpes and its surrounding areas, you can find documentary work as well as projects combining graphic design, sculpture and photography.

David Beger, shows some nice portraits and beautifully simple landscapes on his site. As he currently studies photography at HS Munich you can find some more of his work at “mann oder quadrat” a project of the students of the faculty of photography that is supposed to be an experimental way to show their work beyond universitary surroundings.

Oliver Johannes Uhrig‘s work is about “the intervention of the human race into nature and the intervention of a society in human’s nature”.
On his website he shows extremely interesting and diversified works out of photography, sculpture and graphic design. Absolutely worth seeing!

I just discovered Munich based photographer Noémie Stegmüller doing research for a new project. Her series about the Oktoberfest and her landscapes in Nachtlandschaften are especially worth seeing.
